Anyone can make a podcast... But one that audiences crave week after week? That's the difference between noise and success.
That’s My Speciality.

I'm Tom Koenig, founder of Fresh Tracks Creative. For over 20 years, I've crafted chart-topping, award-winning content for the likes of Sony Music, BBC, Spotify, and stars like Emily Ratajkowski. I turn great ideas into globally successful shows that work on both sides of the Atlantic, and I specialise in making first-time hosts sound like seasoned pros. When you need someone who's done it at the highest level, you come to me.

HOW I CAN HELP YOU

You want to create a podcast that cuts through the noise—a show people can’t help but share with their friends. That’s where I come in.

With over 20 years in the podcast, radio and video industries as a founder, executive producer and Sony Music VP, I am passionate about crafting podcasts that are more than just good—they’re a joy to watch/listen to, they stand out, and they become part of your audience’s regular routine.

With a deep understanding of what audiences crave, I specialise in turning your idea into an exceptional show that grabs attention from the first second. Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining an existing concept, I’ll help you create a podcast that your audience won’t just enjoy—they’ll talk about.

From individuals like influencers, media figures, and celebrities to global brands, corporations, and platforms—I work with anyone who has a story to tell and a desire to tell it well.

CASE STUDIES

Suzanne

Suzanne, a successful yet under-the-radar creative entrepreneur, runs multiple businesses in film, TV, and theatre. Despite her achievements, she lacked a large social following or public platform. She approached me with a creative itch to launch a podcast and shared seven diverse ideas she’d been considering.

During our first meeting, I focused on understanding her deeper motivations: why she wanted a podcast, what she hoped to offer her audience, and her overall goals. In that conversation, Suzanne casually mentioned a playwrights' retreat she hosts in Spain—a moment that sparked the perfect podcast concept.

Together, we developed a podcast idea that expanded on the retreat, blending elements from her initial ideas. This concept didn’t rely on Suzanne’s social following but instead tapped into a ready-made audience. It also positioned her to launch future projects once the podcast gained traction.

Disney Pixar

Disney Pixar approached me during my time at Sony Music to develop an official podcast for an upcoming movie.

I gathered a small team to start building some ideas based on the movie’s cast, crew, story, themes, and music. The goal was to create a podcast that could stand alone, engaging listeners whether or not they had seen the film.

We narrowed down our ideas and presented four strong concepts to the film company, who chose their favourite (while incorporating elements from others). We then set to work developing a full treatment for the show, and getting into production.

The final podcast put the movie’s core themes at its heart. Each episode featured an interview with a cast or crew member, centering each interview around key themes from the movie, guiding the conversation into deeper, personal territory. So rather than feeling like a promotional tool for a film, the show was a compelling and unique listening experience that naturally talked about the movie in relevant places.
